Mazuri Shamba is nestled in the heart of the Greater Kruger region near Hoedspruit, Limpopo. Our peaceful bush retreat offers the perfect base for exploring Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route, and many of the area's top attractions.
Check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Should you require an early arrival or late departure, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Yes. A delicious breakfast is included with your stay. Lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed at the lodge or at one of the many excellent restaurants in and around Hoedspruit.
Yes. Families are warmly welcomed at Mazuri Shamba. Please contact us before booking so we can recommend the most suitable accommodation for your family.
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge, allowing you to stay connected while enjoying your bush escape.

Absolutely. We are happy to assist with booking Big Five game drives, bush walks, scenic flights, Hot Air Balloon Rides, Blyde Dam Boat Cruises, cultural experiences, airport transfers, and many other local activities to make your stay unforgettable.
Yes. A conservation entrance fee of R300 per vehicle, valid for the duration of your stay, is payable directly at the reserve entrance. Please note that card payments are accepted, but cash is not.

Yes. Hoedspruit and the Greater Kruger region are considered low-risk malaria areas. We recommend consulting your doctor or travel clinic before travelling to discuss the most appropriate preventative measures.
The Greater Kruger is a spectacular destination all year round. Winter (May to September) offers excellent game viewing as wildlife gathers around waterholes, while summer (October to April) brings lush landscapes, abundant birdlife, dramatic thunderstorms, and the opportunity to see many newborn animals.
Yes. Your comfort and safety are our highest priority. The lodge offers secure accommodation and parking in a peaceful bush setting. As you are staying in a natural wildlife environment, we ask guests to remain aware of their surroundings and follow any safety guidelines provided by our team.
The Greater Kruger is one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations and offers outstanding opportunities to see the Big Five. While sightings can never be guaranteed, our experienced guides know the area well and will do everything possible to provide an exceptional safari experience.
We recommend lightweight, neutral-coloured clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, binoculars, and a camera. During the winter months, mornings and evenings can be surprisingly cool, so a warm jacket is highly recommended.
No. Mazuri Shamba is easily accessible by standard passenger vehicles. Detailed driving directions will be provided prior to your arrival, and airport transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport can be arranged on request.
We recommend staying at least 2–3 nights to fully experience everything the Greater Kruger region has to offer. A longer stay allows time to enjoy game drives, local attractions, and the relaxed pace of bush life.
